Influenced from an array of different styles, Luke Alessi’s music sits in its own lane, not to be pigeonholed into any conventional genre. Instead, intentionally blurring the lines between house, disco, afro & electro via bending synth lines, earworm hooks and an underlying groove that keeps you locked in on the dance floor Luke Alessi’s productions are reaching global audiences on the most renowned dance floors. It’s these releases with labels Rose Avenue records, Life & Death, Watergate and Buttress that have seen Luke Alessi become a household name, collaborator and ally with the likes of Chloe Calliet, DJ Tennis and RÜFÜS DU SOL to name a few.
2024 saw Luke debut in a number of new cities around the globe across North America, Canada, Mexico, Asia and Europe including iconic venues such as Space Miami, The Brooklyn Mirage NYC, Sound Los Angeles, Factory Town Miami, Else Klub Berlin & many more. The second half of 2024 Luke took on the likes of Portola Festival SF, CRSSD Festival San Diego, Pacha Ibiza, before a welcome home at Strawberry Fields (watch here), supporting Solomun at iconic venue The Wool Store and capping the year off at the Beyond The Valley dance dome.
In late 2024, Luke’s highly anticipated track “After Five” dropped on Life & Death, quickly becoming a global dancefloor staple. Championed by top-tier DJs, it has introduced his music to a new wave of fans and will be joined by a Pablo Bozzi remix and pressing to wax. Up next is the eagerly awaited “Feel At Home,” Luke’s second collaboration with longtime friend Chloé Caillet. Already generating buzz online, the track has skyrocketed in demand thanks to Chris Stussy’s early support. A range of remixes are set to drop too for Emma B, LP Giobbi and Kino Todo.
notwithoutfriends, Luke’s side project with longtime friends William Kiss and Jordan Brando, launched in 2024 with the release of two EP volumes on Rose Avenue and the first of many pop-up events. This project holds a special place for the trio, serving as a creative hub for open collaboration—both musically and artistically—with an extended circle of friends. The collective energy of this collaboration is infused into the music, resonating through every element and, most importantly, on the dancefloor.
