AṢKIM fka urmumsfavdj is a Turkish-born, Montreal-based DJ and producer working with the sounds of mental techno, breakbeat, industrial techno, experimental club, and leftfield rave while grounded around punk sensibility and a DIY approach.

Their sets are raw, instinctive, and deliberately unpolished, combining driving percussion, distorted textures, and non-linear structures to create tension between control and collapse. AṢKIM prioritizes emotional grit, sound design, and structural unpredictability over genre loyalty, rejecting commercial appeal in favor of authenticity and resistance.
